Like all entrepreneurs, Edie Howell saw an opportunity. With a background in the healthcare business, she made up her mind to build a reputation in the area of medical billing. It sounded like a great idea, but before she could even begin serving her first client, the interest and workload outgrew her home-based plans. Edie was drawn to the affordable lease rates and customizable workspace, and less than two weeks after first inquiring, her new office was fully functional, and open for business.

This includes the sometimes complex and cumbersome functions of resolving rejected insurance claims, assisting with appeals and reporting activity to clients. In addition to their billing work, the team also provides administrative work for some of the same medical offices including payroll, administration of retirement plans and credentialing. Looking to bridge the gap between a good idea and being overwhelmed, Edie found a place to put her great idea to work at REI Oklahoma.
