In its recent annual meeting, Kurtis Ward, General Counsel for National Livestock Credit Corp., was elected to REI Oklahoma’s Board of Directors.
Prior to graduating from Oklahoma City University School of Law and becoming a lawyer, Ward spent many years in the commodities and securities industries. He obtained his undergraduate degree in Agricultural Economics from Oklahoma State University where he was a member of Beta Theta Pi fraternity.
Ward writes and speaks on a variety of Investment Fraud topics as well as American History and Constitutional Law. Ward is an Arbitrator with the Financial Regulatory Authority (FINRA-formerly NASD) and the National Futures Association. He is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association, Kansas Bar Association, and the Public Investors Arbitration Bar Association. He resides in Cashion.

During the same occasion, the terms of John Harper, Greta Stewart and Clayton Taylor were renewed. Clayton Taylor, of The Taylor Group, was originally named to the REI Oklahoma Board of Directors in 1999. John Harper, Public Service Company of Oklahoma, and Greta Stewart, Oklahoma Primary Care Association, were first elected to the board in 2011.
