Diamonds & Dreams is an evening focused on the shining accomplishments of Oklahoma’s outstanding and talented women. The second annual event, presented by REI Oklahoma, will be held at the Tulsa Country Club, Tulsa, OK on June 13, 2013, at 6:00 p.m.
The evening will begin with a networking hour, and the opportunity to bid on silent auction items representing the many fine businesses in Oklahoma. Featured dinner guest and speaker is LaDonna Gatlin. LaDonna began her career as a member of the family singing group. She realized early on that success can be measured in different ways. So, she took a giant leap of faith, chose to follow her heart, and sang a different song apart from her brothers. She has spent her entire career empowering audiences to “sing their own song” as well.
“We consider it a real honor to have LaDonna Gatlin serve as our featured speaker,” Dr. Barbara Rackley, REI Women’s Business Center Manager, said. “The event is sure to offer refreshing inspiration and hope to all who attend.”
LaDonna is an active member of the National Speakers Association, and has earned its highest professional designation, the Certified Speaking Professional. She is a contributing writer to the best-selling book series Chicken Soup for the Soul. In her own book titled The Song in You, Finding Your Voice, Redefining Your Life, LaDonna shares her personal story in a very transparent way to craft an uplifting message.
With a finely tuned voice, sharp wit, and engaging communication style crafted over a lifetime of performing, LaDonna ignites audiences to boldly discover their passion, connect with their voice, and embrace a life of purpose and meaning.
Established more than ten years ago, REI Women’s Business Center offers unique training and guidance to Oklahoma’s enterprising women who are looking to explore the opportunities of starting or expanding a business. Serving as Oklahoma’s only Women’s Business Center, the organization is a place where women gain support, encouragement, strength, answers and celebrate success.
Individual tickets for Diamonds & Dreams are $75 per person. Sponsorships are available at $1,000 and $2,000 levels.
