DEVELOPMENT OFFICER
The ideal candidate will be a proven fundraiser, with a minimum of 3-years of experience in all aspects of development including annual fundraising campaigns, events, donor research and cultivation, database management and grant research and writing. A high energy and passion for our organization’s mission is essential.

Additional experience in marketing, communications or sales will be beneficial.

This position will be located in our Durant or Oklahoma City office.

Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Marketing, Business Administration or other related field. Five-years direct experience may be substituted for degree.

Specific Duties Include:
– Working with the SVP of Development to create and execute fundraising plan

– Identify and develop corporate, community and individual prospects for the organization’s fundraising priorities

– Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with donors

– Research funding sources and assist in writing and submission of proposals

BUSINESS SPECIALIST
REI Oklahoma is seeking a Business Specialist to work within our Minority Business Center. The ideal candidate will be committed to working with minority clients to facilitate and support their business needs and obtain appropriate assistance through consulting services.  Experience in establishing and maintaining a network of strategic partners used to assist clients with securing financing, job creation, penetrating global markets and achieving growth and expansion is required.

This position will be located in our Oklahoma City office.

Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Entrepreneurship or other related field. Five-years direct experience in entrepreneurial roles or small business advising may be substituted for degree.

Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus but not required.

Specific Duties Include:
– Responsible for providing technical assistance to minority business enterprises with the goal of helping them to grow their business.

–  Intake and analysis of customer needs to determine the right resources for the customer as well as providing consulting services in the areas of access to capital, procurement, and partnership opportunities.

– Provide business services such as development of marketing and strategic plans for clients and facilitation of meetings for clients with outside resources.

REI OKLAHOMA FACILITIES MAINTENANCE CONTRACTOR
**THIS IS A CONTRACT LABOR POSITION**
REI Oklahoma is looking for a Facilities Maintenance Contractor. Position is located at REI Oklahoma’s main headquarters in Durant, but willingness to travel to the Oklahoma City facility on an as-needed basis is desirable. The person in this position agrees to provide Facility Maintenance for REI Oklahoma as set forth below:

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of Facilities Maintenance or related field experience
  • Knowledge of basic trades including Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, Carpentry, Construction
  • Strong customer service and organizational skills
  • Must provide own tools and equipment if needed

General Responsibilities:

  • Assist REI Oklahoma Facility Manager in the successful maintenance operations and general upkeep of all REI Oklahoma facilities.
  • Perform general facility repairs and maintenance in areas including, but not limited to, plumbing, electrical, appliance, HVAC, construction, and basic carpentry.
  • All aspects of commercial space turnover and make-ready maintenance responsibilities.
  • Timely completion of assigned maintenance requests and work orders.
  • After-hours and on-call flexibility for emergency items.
  • Complete all required paperwork including providing detailed receipts, notes of work performed, and maintenance request forms.
  • Provide excellent customer service to all REI Oklahoma staff and tenants.

Job Type: Contract labor

Pay: Based on experience

Schedule: On-call and as-needed

The person in this position will need to use their personal vehicle for picking up all necessary supplies, travel, and furnish any tools required. Must be able to provide reputable references who can attest to experience related to this type of work.
