REI Oklahoma is seeking a Commercial Loan Closer to work within our Business Lending Team.  We are a statewide economic development company that offers funding, training and resources for Oklahoma entrepreneurs and homebuyers.

Position Overview: Work closely with commercial loan clients and participating lenders to close and disburse loans while ensuring compliance with loan program requirements.

Principal responsibilities include maintaining contact with the loan client,  participating lender and legal counsel, throughout the closing process which requires obtaining all information to accurately prepare loan closing documents for specific program requirements.  In state day travel required.

A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting or with a minimum of 2 years of loan experience in a similar field is also required.

REI Oklahoma is seeking a Business Specialist to work within our Minority Business Center. The ideal candidate will be committed to working with minority clients to facilitate and support their business needs and obtain appropriate assistance through consulting services.  Experience in establishing and maintaining a network of strategic partners used to assist clients with securing financing, job creation, penetrating global markets and achieving growth and expansion is required.

This position will be located in our Oklahoma City office.

Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Entrepreneurship or other related field. Five-years direct experience in entrepreneurial roles or small business advising may be substituted for degree.

Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus but not required.

Specific Duties Include:
– Responsible for providing technical assistance to minority business enterprises with the goal of helping them to grow their business.

–  Intake and analysis of customer needs to determine the right resources for the customer as well as providing consulting services in the areas of access to capital, procurement, and partnership opportunities.

– Provide business services such as development of marketing and strategic plans for clients and facilitation of meetings for clients with outside resources.
