TRAINING COORDINATOR
The Training Coordinator is responsible for working with federal agencies to ensure compliance and training needs are met for awarded contracts.

Responsibilities include:

– Planning and implementation of entrepreneurial and business trainings, workshops, and seminars for underserved and minority-owned businesses.

– Identify training instructors to provide quality training to eligible participants.

This position will be located in our Durant office.

Education Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or other closely related field with one years’ experience. Three years’ closely related experience may be substituted for degree.

Skills:

* Knowledge of business with marketing skills, good communication skills (both verbal and written) and basic computer skills.

MINORITY BUSINESS COORDINATOR
REI Oklahoma is seeking a Minority Business Coordinator to work within our Minority Business Center. The ideal candidate will be committed to working with minority clients to facilitate and support their business needs and obtain appropriate assistance.  Experience in establishing and maintaining a network of strategic partners and resources used to assist clients to achieve growth and expansion is required.

This position will be located in our Oklahoma City office.

Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Entrepreneurship or other related field. Five-years direct experience in entrepreneurial roles or small business advising may be substituted for degree.

Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus but not required.

 Specific Duties Include:

– Responsible for providing technical assistance to minority business enterprises with the goal of helping them to grow their business.

–  Intake and analysis of customer needs to determine the right resources for the customer as well as providing consulting services in the areas of access to capital, procurement, and partnership opportunities.
