December 10, 2015 – REI Oklahoma Board of Directors Elect New Member

Jeff Greenlee, a western Oklahoma banking executive, has been elected to the Board of Directors overseeing REI Oklahoma, a statewide economic development firm.

President of NBC Oklahoma – Altus, Greenlee has worked in the banking industry since 1982. After earning an Agricultural Economics Degree from Oklahoma State University in 1984, Greenlee graduated with distinction in leadership from the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University.

“We are very excited about Jeff’s willingness to serve on the REI Oklahoma Board because his experience aligns so closely with our mission,” said Gary Sherrer, REI Oklahoma board chair.

He is the past chairman of the American Bankers Association Agricultural and Rural Bankers committee, having testified before the House Agriculture Subcommittee on Conservation, Credit, Energy, and Research on credit conditions in 2007. He was instrumental in developing an alliance between the Federal Agricultural Mortgage Corporation and the American Bankers Association to help rural bankers better serve their agricultural customers with farm mortgage products. He continues to be involved in various Altus-area civic and charitable groups.

“We are very fortunate to add such a talented member to the diverse group on our board,” said Scott Dewald, President and CEO. “We are appreciative of his volunteer service as well as that of each other member on our board.”

Greenlee grew up in Holdenville on a peanut, cattle, and wheat farm. He is the father of three boys and his wife Lisa is the Vice President of Academic Affairs at Western Oklahoma State College in Altus. His special interests include raising cattle, distance running, golf, and anything his boys are involved in. He and his family are members of the First Baptist Church in Altus.
