Jennifer Edwards has been named Program Manager of REI Women’s Business Center. Her promotion comes as former manager, Dr. Barbara Rackley, has retired. Ms. Edwards previously served as Program Coordinator in Oklahoma City and surrounding communities. REI Women’s Business Center provides quality business training opportunities, one-on-one business counseling, referrals and technical assistance.
During her time with REI Women’s Business Center, she has become a familiar and trusted mentor to women business owners across Oklahoma. A resident of Moore, she is actively involved in various community organizations.
“We are very excited to have Jennifer serving in this new role,” said Sherry Harlin, Senior Vice President of Development. “Her past experience makes her a great fit in providing support and guidance to Oklahoma’s enterprising women.”
A non-profit economic development firm, REI Oklahoma offers services statewide. REI Business Lending collaborates closely with local lenders to help entrepreneurs navigate through business lending resources and programs. For women-owned businesses and minority-owned enterprises, REI Women’s Business Center and REI Native American Business Centers offer unique training, as well as technical assistance and access to capital. REI Down Payment Assistance provides support to potential homeowners. Additionally, business space is made available through the organization’s commercial facilities program.
