Jim Odom, a western Oklahoma banking consultant, has been elected to the Board of Directors overseeing REI Oklahoma, a statewide economic development firm.
In his consultant role at First National Bank & Trust Co. – Shawnee, Odom is responsible for the bank’s business development as well as continuing relationships with its longstanding customers and developing new customer relationships. His extensive experience in banking, economic and community development span more than 44 years and include loan origination, managing employees and general banking operations.
After graduating from the University of Oklahoma in 1967, Odom served in the United States Army National Guard for three years. He is a member of the First National Bank & Trust Co. – Shawnee loan committee, a member of the bank’s advisory board, formerly served on the board of the Christian Family Counseling Center of Lawton and is an Elder at Dayspring Community Church.

Residing in Faxon, he and wife Judy are the parents of a son and daughter, and are grandparents of six grandchildren.
