Chief Operating Officer (COO)

REI Oklahoma is seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief Operating Officer (COO) to serve as a key partner to the President/CEO, providing executive leadership across organizational operations, program development, and resource management and communications.

Location: Durant, Oklahoma (On-Site)

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the President/CEO to develop and operationalize strategic priorities while overseeing program implementation, ensuring compliance, and evaluating program performance and impact
  • Lead resource planning and allocation, budgeting, and funding strategies in collaboration with the CFO and Senior Leadership, while supporting efforts to secure financial resources and partnerships to advance the organization’s mission
  • Support coordination with boards, committees, and advisory groups while facilitating effective communication and collaboration across leadership and affiliated entities
  • Implement personnel policies and provide leadership, guidance, and coaching to the Senior Leadership Team and direct reports in alignment with the President/CEO’s direction
  • Lead internal and external communications to ensure organizational alignment while enhancing the organization’s visibility, reputation, and strategic partnerships in the community

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, management, or a related field (advanced degree preferred); equivalent training, education, and experience will be considered.
  • 10+ years of senior leadership or manager experience
  • Strong background in operations, financial management, and team leadership
  • Proven ability to execute strategy and drive organizational performance
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
